HR Consultant

DR BABUR ZAHIRUDDIN had his initial Schooling from Station School Rawalpindi, St. Mary’s Murree Road & Lalazar Rawalpindi and Cantonment Public School Quetta. He passed his Faculty of sciences medical group from CADET COLLEGE HASSAN ABDAL and did his Medical Graduation from KING EDWARD MEDICAL COLLEGE LAHORE.

He Joined the Pakistan Armed forces and Saw active service in Baluchistan,Northern Areas and Azad Kashmir as an active combatant. He played basket ball at the Army level representing his corps in the Army Championship many times and was awarded Silver Medal in basketball in 1978.

 

He did his OPHTHALMOLOGY DIPLOMA from ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE RAWALPINDI and MEMBERSHIP OF COLLEGE PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS OF PAKISTAN KARACHI.

After leaving the Armed Forces he did his fellowship of American Medical Society FAMS (Vienna) Austria with research work in Ultra sound diagnosis and laser surgery.

He worked for six months in Oldham infirmary Manchester U.K and returned to Pakistan where he took over his family profession as a consultant Eye Specialist at RAZA EYE CLINIC.

During his stay in the Armed forces by virtue of serving with the troops in inaccessible remote areas of Kara Koram highway, China Border and Azad Kashmir under hostile terrain and conditions he picked up leadership, man management and Human Resources skills.

He has used his Armed Forces expertise, experience, and HR applications for man management for, which he has channelized his pursuits into an H.R career as a Consultant.

He has many research articles and lectures to his credits some of which have been published in News papers and magazines and is a member of various think tanks.

He has appeared on various news channels and talk shows in Pakistan and UK where he dilated on his expertise on FATA, Energy Crisis in Pakistan, Ecology Crisis in Pakistan and the present day to day scenario.

He is the defense analyst for CNBC Pakistan, Metro 1 and PTV Programme DEFENSE AND DIPLOMACY. He has many hiking and trekking expeditions to his credit and has climbed the MAKRA PEAK, PRAYER MAT of Moses and went up to the height of 19000 feet with Polish expedition  to HARAMOSH 1 in 1976.

Recently he led an expedition to Chitral, Shandoor and Gilgit for the Shandoor MELA 2010 & 2011.

This year in July he is leading an expedition to the NEELUM Valley AZAD KASHMIR onwards to KAIL and NIKROO the last frontier………..
